Two great events for CPA of Chester County! Join us May 2nd as we celebrate the 30th Annual Northbrook Canoe Challenge and our 4th Annual Duck Race! Paddle down the scenic Brandywine River in Chester County for a great cause and/or cheer your duck down the river! Over the years, the funds raised, have been used to help adults and children with physical disabilities in our community.
Northbrook Canoe Challenge
The canoe challenge is a 9.5 miles long and takes about 2 hours to complete. The day begins with a shuttle from Northbrook Canoe Company in West Chester to Mortonville at noon, and ends at Northbrook. Proceeds benefit the Cerebral Palsy Association of Chester County. The race is open to all skill levels. Families are encouraged to participate. The Northbrook Canoe Company is located at 1810 Beagle Road, West Chester. All entry fees will be donated to the Cerebral Palsy Association and are tax deductible.
Entry fee is $25 dollars per person, $10 for children under 10 yrs of age.
Canoe rental is $20 per canoe.
Entry applications will be accepted until 9:00pm Saturday, May 1st. Sign in time on race day is from 8:00am to 10:30am. You must sign in to receive your racing number and free T-shirt. (We recommend serious competitors sign in at 8:00am, all others just need to sign in by 10:30am)Awards presentation will be held at Northbrook Canoe Company following the race.
Deadline for entry is 9:00 pm, Saturday, May 1st.

We’d love your support on race day, but you need not be present to win. Proceeds benefit the Cerebral Palsy Association of Chester County. The winner will be contacted using the information provided below. Check our website, www.ccdisability.org, for your Duck numbers.
