What is the Adult Services Program?

Our adult services program serves adults with disabilities over the age of 18 including seniors. The goal of the program is to assist people with disabilities in remaining as independent as possible in their own community by arranging for supports and services in their homes. The agency serves as an enrollment and supports coordination provider for the CSPPPD Waiver programs (Community Service Program for Persons with Physical Disabilities) under the State Office of Long Term Living. Services are also provided to individuals with disabilities who wish to move from a Nursing home back to the community. The program is a subcontractor for Personal Assistance Services for seniors who are disabled.

  • Personal care attendants
  • Homemaker Services
  • Home modifications
  • Durable medical equipment
  • Assistive Technology
  • Transportation
  • Personal Emergency Response Systems
  • Adult care
  • Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy
  • Supportive Employment
  • Community Integration
  • Nursing Home Transition(NHT)services

General Eligibility Criteria


To receive services, a person must comply with the following:

  • Over age 18
  • A resident of Chester County or its surrounding areas
  • Be a person with a disability
  • Determined to be in need of the particular service requested.

We develop partnerships with our consumers that allow for open communication, trust, shared responsibility and mutual respect. The services are home and community-based, flexible and individualized. We recognize that strengthening and empowering our consumers will enhance their potential and therefore produce a better quality of life and self respect. We are here in your community!

What are the costs?


The program is provided free of charge. The Agency is a Medical Assistance Provider. Agency Programs are funded in part from government contracts, United Way support, and private donations.

The Agency is a regional lending library for P.I.A.T. (Pennsylvania's Initiative for Assistive Technology).
