Play Together (West Grove and Chester Springs locations):This is a fully inclusive group where children with developmental disabilities can interact with typically developing peers. Volunteers will assist our Early Intervention staff to help children participate in a variety of activities; including arts, crafts, circle time and snack. The group is held 9:00 to 11:30 am on Tuesdays in a day care center in Chester Springs and Thursday at the day care center in West Grove.

Special Needs Child Care: : Volunteers are currently needed for child care one night per month from 7-9pm during our Parent Support Group for Parents of Children with Physical Disabilities. Other Child Care opportunities available. Times/Days vary. Holiday Breakfast: The holiday breakfast is an annual event held at the Elks Lodge in West Chester on the First Saturday of December. Families who have been and who are currently being served by CPA are invited to a pancake breakfast with Santa. Volunteers are needed to hand out toys and to assist children in making crafts.

Helping people with physical disabilities in your local neighborhood: Friendly Visitors for Adults with Physical Disabilities are needed. Volunteers are wanted to interact with physically disabled adults in their homes or communities. Or help to run errands for a person with disabilities. Times vary between 8am and 4:30pm; Monday through Friday

Canoe Race: CPA partners with the Northbrook Canoe Company to hold a 9 mile canoe race annually to benefit our organization. Our duck race is held the same day! This is our largest fundraising event. Volunteers are needed to assist at our Canoe Race typically held on the first Sunday in May from 8-4.

Fund Raising: Most of our fundraising events are held in April and May, to coincide with our Canoe and Duck race, to volunteer call 610-524-5850 for more information.
